A Life of Diverse Experiences and Achievements
Having lived a life on a road less travelled, Latife has had many chapters in her life. And if you ask her, she will tell you she has loved everything about every job and business she has built, and that work has never really felt like work.
Starting out as a paralegal in a large prestigious law firm in Sydney, Australia – Latife specialized in real estate transactions, and bought her first investment property when she was 21 years old.
She later moved on to work as an Assistant to Multiplex Construction’s Project Manager of the Inter-Continental Hotel construction site in Sydney, and then spent seven years traveling the world with Qantas Airways working as an Air Chef in first class. During this time she joined the Max Rowley Media Academy, and two days after her last flight, she started a new role as writer and television anchor for Australia’s first cable television station, VIP TV.
Before too long she branched out and produced her own tourism video, ‘Sydney Inside Out’, which was awarded the 1993 New South Wales Tourism Award for Excellence. The production was used by the Sydney Olympic Committee to help win the rights to host the 2000 Olympic Games.
She went on to use her accumulated legal expertise, business acumen, and marketing savvy to form her own international luxury real estate marketing company – specializing in the production of lifestyle and property videos to help developers sell off the plan locally and internationally. Her clients were among the largest, privately owned and publicly listed property development and construction companies throughout Australia and Asia.
In late 1999 she moved to San Francisco and oversaw the build-out of Regus Business Centre’s flagship office, and then went on to run it, leasing space to large corporations and startups from Silicon Valley during the dot-com days.
Feeling burnt out from the demands of corporate America, she moved to Napa Valley in 2001. For the next 23 years she represented buyers and sellers of wineries, vineyards and luxurious estates, attracting many of the most coveted clients in the market from across the United States, Asia and France.
Media and Podcast Ventures
In 2018, drawing on her television background and extensive relationships in Napa Valley, Latife launched her successful television show and podcast “Napa Valley Inside Out” – shining a light on Napa Valley’s highly coveted lifestyle, and educating viewers on the challenges and complexities of investing in agricultural property and getting into the wine business.
Today, Latife embarks on a new chapter, leveraging her impressive connections from around the world to launch “The Interchange” podcast. This dynamic platform delves into cutting edge technology, financial intelligence, ai, crypto, climate change, healthcare, and the inspiring stories of entrepreneurs, visionaries, philanthropists and international musicians and singers. Through insightful interviews with founders, CEOs, and other high achievers, Latife fosters a space for learning, inspiration, and a glimpse into the lives of those shaping our future and living their best lives.
