As I write this month’s newsletter, I feel immense gratitude for the privilege of being able to do so from a comfy sofa in my beautiful backyard in north Saint Helena. When I ponder the statistics below, I am immeasurably thankful to have been spared the horrors and losses of the past few weeks. I am eternally grateful to our brave first responders who risked their lives to save our lives, our homes and our businesses, which allowed me this great privilege. Even more astonishing, is the fact that tens of first responders lost their homes and personal belongings, but continued to fight for ours.
