Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend? What About Wine and Shoes?

Wine, Women and Shoes fundraiser

Put away your sensible shoes and kick up your favorite high heels at the 2nd annual Wine, Women and Shoes (WW&S) fundraiser to benefit Napa Emergency Women’s services. The event is being held on July 27 at Charles Krug Winery from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Featuring delicious food from local chefs, caterers and restaurants, and wines from Napa’s most prestigious wineries, there’s also a fashion show with women’s and men’s clothing from Helen and Scott Lyall, a shopping marketplace with shoes and accessories, a raffle to win a dream closet valued at more then $7,000 and silent and live auctions.

The highlight of the afternoon will be the award for “Best in Shoe.” Judged by wine industry icon Jean-Charles Boisset of Boisset Family Estates, winners will be selected in three categories: Best Heel, Best Wedge and Sassiest Flat. Boisset was the natural choice to judge the “Best in Shoe” contest because of his well-known sense of style. The leader of the growing family winery empire will mingle with guests at the event and select winners among attendees.

An episode of “Feast It Forward” will be filmed at the event, showcasing good will and charitable giving through culinary and wine related events.

WW&S helps create unforgettable and unsurpassed fundraisers for any organization, using a successful event and fundraising platform.
