Napa Valley’s Carneros Inn is undergoing an exciting $9 million renovation and is being renamed the Carneros Resort and Spa.
This luxury 28-acre property is owned by Flynn Properties Inc.
The first phase of renovation – costing $6 million – has been completed. The renovations included a new wedding and events venue known as The Arbor, revitalization of the family pool and a newly-built guest reception area located near the resort’s fine dining restaurant, FARM.
FARM also received a remodel with a new bar and outdoor terrace, which now features a fireplace, overhead heaters, and stylish lounge furniture.
The resort’s 94 cottages and suites are more than 50 percent complete and are part of a $3 million renovation program, which will modernize the interiors and add lighter color palettes to match the sun-washed, farm-style architecture of the entire property.
Carneros Resort and Spa also renamed its 17 cottage neighborhoods to reflect local flora and fauna. These new names include “Lavender,” “Fig,” and “Juniper.”
The Spa at Carneros will be reimagined and redesigned, offering in-room treatments as well as treatments in a spacious, two-bedroom residence on the property. The Spa’s renovation is expected to continue through late May 2018.
Since February 1, 2018 Carneros Resort and Spa has been offering fitness and wellness programs with Napa Valley fitness provider Donovan’s Wellness Solutions. This program offers the latest in high quality complimentary fitness classes such as yoga, boot camp and pilates for resort guests. Private training and classes are also available for guests and groups.
The new name – Carneros Resort and Spa is meant to reflect the property’s commitment to providing the most luxurious, relaxing resort experience in California wine country.
The word “carneros” is Spanish for rams, and refers back to the history of the land, which was used for grazing sheep. A ram’s head has been newly incorporated in the resort’s updated logo.
Carneros Resort and Spa is already a well-known destination resort in Napa Valley, located in the highly-regarded Carneros region. The property is surrounded by grapevines, fruit trees and picturesque farmland.
Each of the property’s spacious cottages offer 400-800 square feet of private outdoor living space. Cottages include fireplaces, indoor-outdoor showers, individual hot tubs and French doors leading to beautifully landscaped gardens.
The property is home to three restaurants, a market, a high-end fashion boutique, two pools and a spa.
Carneros’ signature restaurant, FARM, offers an elegant fine-dining experience with dishes that feature produce from the resort’s culinary garden. For a more casual dining experience, guests can visit the Boon Fly Cafe, popular for its modern rustic cuisine.
